ABOUT BOOM-BIO BB / COMPANY / 01

Industrialising Africa's Bioeconomy.

Boom-Bio exists to develop the materials, manufacturing capability and partnerships required to convert African agricultural feedstocks into high-performance industrial materials.

We are starting with natural fibre reinforcements and composite applications, while building toward a broader platform for advanced biomaterials.

WHY WE EXIST

We are building toward a future where African agricultural feedstocks are transformed into advanced industrial materials.

Boom-Bio materials development and manufacturing in South Africa
Building local capability From reinforcement development to composite applications.
OUR STORY

Boom-Bio began with a simple observation: Africa has the biological resources and manufacturing potential to participate meaningfully in the industrial bioeconomy, but much of the technical and industrial value chain still needs to be built.
